The Stunning Beauty of Flowers

During this Season of Creation, I thought it fitting to focus on flowers, arguably the most unique and loveliest masterpieces to come from the mind of God. The sheer number and variety of flowers covering our earth home attest to God’s ingenuity and beneficence as well as his love for us.

For your delight, I offer an array of flowers, twenty-one of them, including the more exotic ones. At the end of these photos is a rendition of Tchaikovsky’s “Waltz of the Flowers,” which is accompanied by a video of pictures of roses followed by lovely photos and art. It’s said that Tchaikovsky was particularly proud of the roses in his garden.

Shampoo Ginger is growing in the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden on the Big Island of Hawaii. Tiny shoots appear in pooling bracts indicating flower is blooming.
